So what? it is just a picture, not a boot screen. I have searched in vain all over the Internet for a file that is in the ntoskrnl format only to find out that there is no vista ones only XP. I won't use any other third party program to get what i wan't either. What a rip off. Thanks for nothing.

Why should I do that?

It's just a picture what you can take for changing your XP Bootup Logo...
Not a complete compiled Vista Boot ntoskrnl... Cause this wouldn't run on XP.

There are so much programs what can change the boot screen with just a few klicks like Stardock Bootskin, Tune Up Styler 2 or BootXP...

You didn't understand me i won't use any third party software that will mess up my system; like the software you just mentioned. Those 3 software products do nothing but hog system resources, and Stardock is one of the biggest offenders. I have had icon files get messed up with that product.I can have an opinion about this if i want too. A picture file of a boot screen is pointless. Nobody will have the guts to make a compiled vista boot screen that will work on XP. Don't say it can't be done because it can.

At first BootXP and Tune Up Styler doesn't mess up the system because they don't run at any windows start. The only thing they do is to replace one bitmap in the ntoskrnl.exe
Nothing more...

And if you have any problems to use third party software to change your boot screen, fine. But it's not my problem. So talk to Stardock or TuneUp or whatever. I don't care...

I'm not interessted in any disscussion about any programs, system files or pro and contras about these. So stop bugging me!

Ok i got your point. Installing any software is a risk. No problem. Sorry for bugging you. We all have a right to an opinion though.

Hahaha!! Funny... Copied my design and you said based on ORIGINAL... LOL.. Open your eyes and read carefully. MOCK means it's made up. It was designed by me. I guess u didn't use 5381....
